Special Forces for Environmental Security A citizen violated the environmental law, because he did not adhere to the instructions and guidelines for preserving vegetation by setting fire to places other than those designated for them in the Hail region.
The regular procedures were applied against him.
The forces confirmed that the penalty for setting fires in places other than those designated for them in forests and national parks is a fine of up to 3,000 riyals.
A violator was caught in the King Abdulaziz Reserve
The Special Forces arrested Environmental Security identified a citizen who violated the environmental regulations for entering with his vehicle in Al-Fayyad and Al-Rawdah in the King Abdulaziz Royal Reserve.
And legal measures were taken against him.
The forces explained that the penalty for entering vehicles and cars in Al-Fayyad and Al-Rawdha protected wildlife reaches two thousand riyals.
Violator in Medina
The Special Forces for Security and Protection in the Medina region arrested a citizen in violation of the environmental regulation, in possession of local firewood.
/>The seized items were handed over to the competent authority.
This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Interior’s follow-up of local charcoal and firewood marketing activities within cities and governorates, and on roads connecting the regions, and what is published in irregular ways about this activity across various platforms.
Reporting Violators
The Special Forces for Security and Protection urged to report any cases representing an attack on the environment or wildlife on the number 911 in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Sharqiya, And 999 and 996 in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
