"Abu Dhabi Ports" Data centers obtain accreditation from the Institute "Uptime"

ABU DHABI, 24TH December, 2017 (WAM) – Abu Dhabi Ports Group announced today that it has obtained Level 4 data center accreditation, making it the first company globally in the trade and logistics sector to obtain this accreditation, which is the highest classification provided by the New York-based global Uptime Institute.
The remarkable achievement highlights Abu Dhabi Ports Group’s commitment to digital transformation, operational flexibility and technological innovation, as Level 4 accreditation is granted to fault-resistant data centers that allow organizations to deal with unexpected incidents without affecting operations.
The group’s data center, which is certified at Level 4, forms the backbone of its hybrid cloud infrastructure, as it supports vital operations in more than 50 countries and completes more than 150 million digital transactions annually. It is designed to ensure 99.995% business continuity, with integrated backup systems including power, cooling and networking. These solid data center foundations ensure continuous and secure service delivery to global supply chains.
