Nahyan bin Mubarak will open a forum tomorrow "The UAE is a close-knit family with deep roots"
ABU DHABI, 1st April / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, will open tomorrow, Thursday, the “The UAE is a Cohesive Family in a Deeply Rooted Nation” forum, organized by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence in Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of a large number of religious, intellectual and community leaders in the country, in addition to the participation of ambassadors of brotherly and friendly countries to the country, and leaders of tolerance committees in all government institutions.
The forum’s sessions focus on the importance of strengthening the role of the Emirati family with its various generations in protecting society, its cohesion, preserving its capabilities, and contributing to its renaissance in accordance with the wise vision of our wise leadership.
The forum includes an opening speech by His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak, in addition to speeches by a number of religious leaders participating in the conference sessions, which will address the importance of the role of religious, national and societal values in preserving Emirati society, the cohesion of the Emirati family, and communication between generations within the family.
The forum embodies the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence’s interest in consolidating the values of the Emirati family and supporting its cohesion as it is the basic foundation for building Emirati society.
The forum’s sessions will also focus on highlighting the integrated relationship between religious values, family cohesion, societal stability, the strength and durability of the state, and the impact of all of this on the future and building a solid foundation for the nation’s renaissance and progress in various fields.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan stressed that this forum focuses on the Emirati family, which represents the most prominent model of cohesion and cohesion, thanks to the solid values derived from the Islamic religion and the Emirati heritage, pointing out that the strength of society begins with the strength of the family, and that maintaining its cohesion is a shared responsibility that requires the combined efforts of all institutions and individuals.
He added that the forum will highlight the pivotal role of the Emirati family of all generations in protecting society, preserving its gains, enhancing its stability, and actively contributing to the development process, stressing that the UAE is moving with confident steps towards establishing an integrated civilizational model based on tolerance, coexistence and respect for diversity, under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” who believes that the human being is the true wealth of this nation.
His Excellency appreciated the large turnout from religious, intellectual and community leaders to participate in the forum’s activities and sessions, noting that the forum also aims to enhance communication between generations within the family as it is the most prominent factor that contributes to enhancing social cohesion and transferring values, experiences and traditions from one generation to another, ensuring the preservation of national identity and enhancing belonging and loyalty to the homeland, pointing out that contemporary challenges require increasing awareness of the importance of this communication, and working to support it through programs. And initiatives that promote family dialogue and open horizons of understanding between different age groups.
For its part, the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence confirmed that the forum sessions will discuss the importance of strengthening cooperation between the family and educational and religious institutions, which contributes to integrating roles and unifying efforts aimed at building a cohesive society, capable of facing the cultural and social challenges imposed by globalization and rapid developments in various fields, which will reflect positively on society as a whole, and contribute to consolidating the values of mutual respect and cooperation among its various groups, noting that these committees represent a practical model for embodying the values of tolerance in daily life.
She added that the forum will focus on strengthening family cohesion in light of contemporary challenges, highlighting the role of religion in consolidating family values and enhancing societal stability, emphasizing that the strength of the UAE stems from the strength of its familial and societal fabric, and presenting the Emirati model as a cohesive human family despite its diversity, in addition to establishing the concept that the cohesive family is the basis of the state’s strength and stability, highlighting the role of the wise leadership in strengthening family and societal cohesion, and supporting the UAE’s process of building and prosperity through a strong and cohesive society.
