Noura University integrates artificial intelligence to enhance the spread of Arabic globally

He organized an institute for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers in Princess Noura University Bint Abdul Rahman, today, Sunday, a specialized forum entitled “Teaching the Arabic Language in the Light of Techniques Artificial Intelligence”, in the presence of the university’s acting president, Dr. Fawzia Al-Amro, with the aim of integrating advanced technologies into linguistic curricula and developing innovative educational tools that serve female learners around the world.

The forum, which was hosted by the university’s Conference and Seminar Center, witnessed a qualitative presence of an elite group of researchers and specialists in the fields of linguistics and technology, as the discussions focused on anticipating the future of Teaching Arabic and raising the efficiency of its outputs by employing the latest applications of artificial intelligence.

During the forum, Dr. Fawzia Al-Amro stressed that the Arabic language represents the essence of identity and the main engine of development, noting the university’s tireless endeavor to form a pioneering national model that combines the authenticity of the language with the modernity of smart solutions in the contemporary digital landscape.

The participants reviewed a package of smart methods and tools that contribute directly to developing the language skills of non-Arabic speakers, while discussing the effectiveness of integrating these technologies into Classrooms to enhance the learning experience and accelerate the pace of linguistic mastery.

In a qualitative achievement added to the university’s credit, the forum witnessed the launch of the “Nebras” educational series directed specifically to learners of the Arabic language who are not native speakers, a step aimed at bridging the knowledge gap and meeting linguistic needs in accordance with modern international standards.

The event included an accompanying exhibition entitled “Noura, the Forum of Civilizations,” which embodied the concepts of global citizenship and cultural integration, with wide participation from female students. The institute represented different countries from all continents of the world.

The exhibition reflected the rich cultural diversity of the female students by displaying popular folklore, handicrafts, and traditional costumes of their countries, which transformed the university’s corridors into a platform for cultural convergence that enhances the values of coexistence and dialogue.

External bodies, educational and technical institutions, and public libraries participated in the exhibition, devoting its corners to introducing the latest artificial intelligence innovations that serve the language education sector and enrich the content. Arabic knowledge.

This academic movement comes within the objectives of the strategic plan of Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University 2025, which aims to support specific initiatives that enhance the presence of the Arabic language and its cultural role locally and globally.

Through these initiatives, the university seeks to consolidate the position of the Arabic language as a basic pillar in building a distinguished knowledge society, benefiting from the technical boom to serve the language of the Qur’an and disseminate it on a large scale.
