opening "Sharjah Heritage Days" In the city of Al Dhaid
SHARJAH, 12TH FEBRUARY/WAM / Yesterday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Central Finance Department, inaugurated the activities of “Sharjah Heritage Days” in its twenty-third session in the city of Al Dhaid, under the slogan “The Glow of Authenticity”, in Al Dhaid Fort Square, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, President of the Sharjah Heritage Institute, His Excellency Abu Bakr Al Kindi, Director of the Sharjah Heritage Institute, and Dr. Muhammad Abdullah bin Huwaiden, Chairman of the Municipal Council of the city. Al Dhaid, His Excellency Hamad Rashid Al Tunaiji, Director of the Municipality of Al Dhaid City, and Mr. Nasser Saeed Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the event in Al Dhaid City.
The activities organized by the Sharjah Heritage Institute come within the framework of its efforts to preserve the national heritage and enhance its presence in the cultural scene, in addition to highlighting the specificity of the central region and the deep-rooted historical and social legacy it carries.
The events witnessed a remarkable attendance from residents and visitors.
