"Literature and publishing" Leading the Kingdom’s pavilion is a guest of honor at the Damascus International Book Fair
Continue The Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority’s efforts in leading the participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is a guest of honor in Dear Syrian people, by introducing Saudi literary and intellectual production, and highlighting the diversity of the Kingdom’s cultural identity.
The Kingdom’s pavilion witnessed, throughout the days of the exhibition, an accompanying cultural program, organized by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority, and bringing together an elite group of Saudi writers and intellectuals, through literary and cultural seminars and poetry evenings, celebrating the contemporary Saudi cultural movement, and highlighting the effectiveness of its presence and influence in the cultural scene. Arabic language, in a way that contributes to enriching cultural dialogue and expanding the horizons of interaction with the brotherly Syrian public, and this comes within the ongoing efforts through which the Authority seeks to bring Saudi writers to literary and cultural forums at the regional and global levels.
Guest of Honor
It is noteworthy that the Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority is leading the representation of the Kingdom as Guest of Honor at the Damascus International Book Fair 2026, presenting a vibrant cultural experience that celebrates Saudi creativity and celebrates the book. Prospects for cultural dialogue, in line with the National Strategy for Culture under the umbrella of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, through which the Commission has paid special attention to continuing creative dialogue between peoples, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and affirming the Kingdom’s leadership in the Arab and international cultural scene.
