American-made.. Removing a bomb from World War II from a workshop in Belgrade

Serbian police announced the removal of 470 kg aerial bomb belonging to World War II, from a construction site in the center of the capital Belgrade.
This American-made bomb was used "ANN-M44" During air raids carried out by the Allies on German positions during the liberation of Belgrade from Nazi occupation in 1944.
Prior to removing the bomb, the workshop, which is located near a residential area and a shopping center, underwent a careful reconnaissance operation "To ensure safe conditions"according to what the police revealed.
The residents of the area were asked to leave their homes and move their car if they could.
The bomb was transported to an army training center 180 kilometers from Belgrade, where it will be dismantled in the coming days.
