Ajman Municipality transfers its smart services to the “Ajman One” application, the unified application of the Ajman government

The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman announced the discontinuation of the department’s smart application (MPDA) on all three of its platforms: Apple (iOS), Android (Google), and Huawei (Huawei), as part of its strategic plan to unify the channels of providing government services, and transferring it to the “Ajman One” application as the unified application for the Ajman government.

This trend comes within the framework of simplifying the customer experience, and enabling him to complete all his government transactions easily and smoothly through a unified application, which reflects the Ajman government’s approach to sustainable development and integrated institutional work.

In this context, the Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, explained that the department continues its commitment to working under one government umbrella that places the customer at the top of its priorities, and seeks to improve the quality of life and enhance levels of happiness and well-being in the emirate.

He confirmed that more than 40 smart services have been completely transferred, with all their advantages and characteristics, from the MPDA application to the “Ajman One” application, ensuring the continuity of providing services without interruption, indicating that the decision to stop the application will enter into force as of December 31, 2025.

He added that this step comes in line with Ajman Vision 2030 and the department’s strategy to promote digital transformation and provide more integrated and effective government services, in line with government efforts aimed at improving the quality of life and providing an advanced and safe digital experience for customers.

Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi stressed that the MPDA application, since its launch in 2014, has been a pivotal pillar in the government digital transformation process, and an advanced national example in adopting the best international practices in providing smart services, as it contributed to creating a qualitative shift in the efficiency and quality of government services, attracted more than 230 thousand users, provided its services in more than 27 languages, and completed more than 3 million digital transactions according to the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi pointed out that Ajman Municipality was the first department in the country to provide the digital identity feature, the digital seal, and the digital signature, in addition to the smart watch application, which is the first of its kind at the Ajman government level, which enabled customers to access all government services easily and safely, ensuring the credibility of digital transactions and protecting personal data.

He added that these innovations were reflected in the application receiving more than 20 local and international awards in the fields of government excellence and digital services, most notably the application receiving the award for the best government service via mobile phone within the government summit in its first session, in addition to obtaining a five-star rating within the global star system for rating services for two consecutive sessions, which reflects the quality of services provided and the efficiency of the work system, which reflects the leadership of Ajman Municipality and the sustainability of its impact in supporting innovation and digital transformation.

Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi stressed that the department is continuing to achieve more successes by providing its services through the unified Ajman government application “Ajman One”, where the efforts of all government agencies are integrated to provide smart and proactive services that put the customer’s comfort and happiness at the top of priorities.

The department called on all customers to download the “Ajman One” application to benefit from government services with ease and safety, within a unified digital experience that keeps pace with future aspirations and supports the digital transformation process in the Emirate of Ajman.
