Achraf Hakimi is upset by the booing whistles against the Moroccan national team

Morocco national team captain Achraf Hakimi expressed his dissatisfaction with the jeers launched by some Moroccan fans against the “Atlas Lions” after a 1-1 draw with Mali in the second round of the African Cup of Nations currently being held in Morocco.
He said in the press conference about the upcoming confrontation with Zambia today, Monday (23:00 pm UAE time): “The national team needs the support of its fans at this sensitive stage, and the fans must know that our last match was against a major football country (Mali) and the players made a great effort.”
Hakimi explained: “It is not normal for the fans to whistle. We need this player No. 12, and I have experience with that. I remember in Paris Saint-Germain, we were not winning the Champions League, we were losing, and it was said about us that we are not a big team, and in the end, we became European champions.”
The Moroccan team is playing the match against Zambia, realizing the importance of winning in order to secure qualification and avoid any complicated calculations, as they look forward to finishing the group stage in the best possible way and continuing the journey steadily towards the final rounds.
