The branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Eastern Province organized a specialized workshop to train oversight and compliance teams on the latest technical devices for health detection, aiming to cover more than 70 markets Traditional inspection operations are transformed into precise operations that rely on advanced devices, which contributes to improving the quality of health control and ensuring the safety of what is displayed in public benefit markets.
The workshop witnessed strategic cooperation with the private sector, represented by the “Commercial Research Foundation,” to integrate commercial and technical expertise into government supervisory work.
Dr. Ali Al-Hajji, Director of the Markets and Slaughterhouses Department at the branch, explained that the training was not limited to the theoretical aspect, but rather included a practical explanation. And an extensive field study of the mechanism of action of Regulatory agencies.
Early detection of violations
The ability of these technologies to early and accurately detect health violations that may not be seen with the naked eye was reviewed, in addition to discussing the best global practices in the field of compliance.
Al-Hajji indicated that this training movement aims to develop human capabilities working in a wide range that includes more than 70 markets and slaughterhouses distributed in the cities and governorates of the Eastern Region.
