Dubai Culture launches more than 23 interactive workshops within the “Schools of Life” during Ramadan

Dubai, February 24 / WAM / Dubai Culture and Arts Authority “Dubai Culture” continues to enhance the presence of Dubai’s public libraries as vibrant centers through its Schools of Life project, which falls under the umbrella of the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy, offering a package of inspiring sessions and interactive activities aimed at developing the life, creative and cultural skills of all members of society and consolidating the values of positive thinking.
Under the slogan of Ramadan, the month of giving, the Authority will launch, during the month of March, more than 23 interactive workshops within specific clubs, including calligraphy, books, music, performing arts, languages, family development, health, nutrition, and others, giving library patrons the opportunity to engage in innovative educational experiences in an inspiring Ramadan atmosphere.
Al Safa Arts and Design Library hosts a 3D Arabic calligraphy workshop, in addition to a group of Art Club workshops, such as the Money Piggy Bank and the Fabric Crescent. The authority cooperates with the Tashkeel Center to present a handmade ceramics workshop and a clay animation workshop to explore stop motion techniques. It also hosts a bead collage workshop to encourage participants to create contemporary works of art.
At the Kutubna Cultural Center, it organizes a soap lantern workshop within the Art Club, while the Rashidiya Library offers a book separator workshop in the art of paper quilling and an Arabic language session in life. Giving is a language. It also hosts a maamoul preparation workshop within the Health and Nutrition Club.
The activities conclude with the activities of the Music and Performing Arts Club, which includes choral workshops in Arabic to celebrate the atmosphere of Eid and Mother’s Day, thus enhancing the spirit of participation and creativity in society.
