Announcing the names of the winners of the Khalifa Educational Award next April

ABU DHABI, 1st JANUARY / WAM / The General Secretariat of the Khalifa Educational Award, one of the institutions of the Zayed Humanitarian Legacy Foundation, announced the end of accepting applications for its nineteenth session 2025-2026, which began last July, while the names of the winners for this session are scheduled to be announced at the end of next April.
This session included the presentation of 10 fields distributed into 17 categories, and Hamid Al-Hooti, Secretary-General of the Award, confirmed the Award’s appreciation for the broad response from the educational field locally, Arably and internationally to participate in nominations for this session, which reflects the prominent status of the Award.
He pointed out that according to the time plan for the current session, the initial screening processes begin directly by the relevant committees after the deadline for accepting candidates’ applications ends, and then the nominated works that meet the criteria specified for each field and category are judged and evaluated.
He added that this process takes place within a comprehensive framework of objectivity and absolute transparency in evaluating the nominated works, based on the vision and mission of the award in spreading the culture of excellence in the educational and academic field at all levels. This process is also followed by a stage of field visits to a number of educational and community institutions that reached the final list, with the aim of seeing the positive impact achieved by the proposed projects and initiatives, and their impact on the field and the local community.
The Secretary-General of the Award explained that the current session witnessed a number of events and visits at the local and international levels, to introduce the fields at hand and strengthen joint cooperation with a number of countries around the world and their prestigious academic institutions, especially with regard to the field of the Khalifa International Award for Early Education, where the delegation of the General Secretariat of the Award visited the Republic of Rwanda, and also participated in scientific conferences in the United States of America and Hong Kong, in addition to participating in a number of prominent local exhibitions and events at the state level, which expands the base of communication with the various elements of the educational process.
Hamid Al-Hooti stressed the appreciation of the Award’s General Secretariat for the tireless efforts made by the award’s work teams, and the coordinators at the state, Arab world, and world levels, as well as the arbitrators who belong to a wide range of prestigious academic and educational institutions, each in his or her scientific specialization.
