Two Arab confrontations today in the African Cup of Nations in Morocco

The Senegal and Sudan national teams will launch the round of 16 elimination matches for the finals of the 35th edition of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, held in Morocco, today at exactly 17:00 Moroccan time, eight o’clock, UAE time, at the Grand Stadium in Tangier.
The Sudanese national team, “The Jedan Falcons,” which qualified as one of the best teams to finish third, faces its Senegalese counterpart, the “Tiranga Lions,” champions of Group Four, who finished the group stage without any defeat, maintaining their clean record in the first round of the tournament.
Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca will also host the second match in the quarter-finals of the African Championship, which will bring together the teams of Tunisia and Mal at exactly (20:00) Moroccan time, eleven o’clock UAE time.
The Tunisian team qualified for this round as runner-up in the third group behind Nigeria, after achieving a win and a draw versus a loss in the group stage, while the Mali team did not achieve any victory, contenting itself with three draws.
