Switzerland announces the freezing of any assets of Nicolas Maduro "With immediate effect"

Declared The Swiss government, today, Monday, decided to Freeze any assets owned by the Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his partners in Switzerland "With immediate effect"

She said in a statement "By doing this, the Federal Council (government) aims to prevent the transfer of assets abroad"stressing that "If any future legal proceedings reveal that the funds were obtained illegally, Switzerland will seek to ensure that the funds are in the best interests of the Venezuelan people.".
