The badminton team participates in the Arab Championship for men and women in Egypt
Dubai, January 6 / WAM / The national badminton team will participate in the Arab Championship competitions, scheduled for the indoor hall in the new capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, from January 20 to 22.
The championship competitions for men and women are organized by the Arab Badminton Federation and the Egyptian Badminton Federation, in the categories of men’s and women’s singles, men’s and women’s doubles, and mixed doubles.
Yesterday, the UAE Badminton Federation concluded the qualifying competitions for the players qualified to participate in the championship competitions, and they are both male and female players, Abdul Aziz Yahya, Abdul Rahman Oyoun, Mayed Al Obaidullah, Sultan Al Hamed, Nasser Al Sayegh, Ghadeer Al Taheri, Futtaim Al Dhahouri, Lujain Abu Salem, Dana Ahmed, and Maryam Al Taheri.
Nasser Khamis Al Marri, Secretary-General of the UAE Badminton Federation and head of the delegation, confirmed the readiness of all male and female players to participate in the championship competitions, and the readiness to stand on the podiums supported by the distinguished results achieved during the past period in various local and foreign participations.
As part of the tournament activities, meetings of the Executive Office and the General Assembly of the Arab Badminton Federation will be held.
