Ras Al Khaimah Police reviews the transformational project of the integrated security dome system

Ras Al Khaimah, 6 January / WAM / The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command reviewed the Integrated Security Dome System project, which represents one of the most important major transformational projects to enhance the sustainability, competitiveness and quality of security life in the emirate, with the aim of introducing advanced technology in combating and reducing crime, ensuring road security and safety, and enhancing response to emergency situations, and based on the best local and international police practices.

The Security Dome project comes as an integrated security system that employs the latest smart surveillance technologies and advanced data analytics, by analyzing and linking data and operational processes in one platform, and adopting modern technologies that provide comprehensive and integrated coverage of roads and vital areas in the emirate, which will enhance the ability to provide the data required to predict risks, and raise the level of readiness, proactiveness and speed of response for all police sectors.

Brigadier General Dr. Tariq Mohammed bin Saif, Director General of Police Operations, confirmed that the project supports the state’s trends in the field of digital transformation, and has a forward-looking vision for the future represented by strengthening the smart security system to support decision-making, and enhancing institutional flexibility to keep pace with developments in modern criminal methods, and thus enhancing the proactive process of confronting them and reducing them at the local and international levels.

Brigadier Tariq bin Saif confirmed that the project was implemented in specific time stages, and is based on an integrated work mechanism during which the planning process, strategic intelligence, and application of the principles of governance, risk management, and change management were employed. To ensure the achievement of efficiency, effectiveness, coordination and integration between the police sectors and all criminal, traffic and operational work teams, through one digital platform, as Ras Al Khaimah Police seeks through this project to achieve the goals of criminal and traffic competitive indicators at the state level, and to enhance the level of security and safety for members of society and all its segments.
