Dibba stands firm and snatches a valuable victory from Khor Fakkan

Dibba continued its uprising in the ADNOC Professional League, and achieved its second victory in a row, by defeating Khor Fakkan 1-0, in the match that brought them together, today, Thursday, in the 12th round of the competition.

Caution prevailed during the first half on the part of both teams, for fear of receiving an early goal, so play was confined for most of its periods in the midfield area, with the only chance for Dibba coming through a header by the Iraqi player Muhannad Ali, which was blocked by Khor Fakkan goalkeeper Ahmed Al Hosani.

Dibba’s performance improved in the second half, and it started with a surprise shot from Japanese Takashi Uchino, which the Khor Fakkan goalkeeper turned into a corner kick, before the team succeeded in converting its advantage into the match’s only goal.
Dibba’s goal was scored by Simon Cabral, after he penetrated into the Khor Fakkan penalty area and shot a ball that hit one of the defenders and changed direction, before settling to the right of the goalkeeper, “57”.
