" Adnik" It organizes and hosts 190 events during the first half of 2026

Abu Dhabi, 9 January / WAM / During the first half of this year, ADNEC Group, one of the “Modon” companies, is hosting and organizing 192 various events, including exhibitions, conferences, and special events, across its various locations in the UAE, in support of a wide range of vital and strategic sectors, including health care, finance, manufacturing, and technology, in addition to sustainability, energy, defense and security, and entertainment. The schedule of events also includes consumer-oriented exhibitions and various sports and cultural exhibitions, in addition to public, commercial and private events aimed at enhancing community interaction.
ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center is preparing to host a busy season that includes 125 events, while ADNEC Al Ain Center will host 67 events during the first half of the year. This season also witnesses the organization of 12 events being held for the first time in the Middle East region, including the IAAPA Middle East exhibition, the first UAE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence, the M&I Abu Dhabi exhibition, the Masters Open Abu Dhabi, the World Customs Organization Technology Conference and Exhibition 2026, the IBS MENA 2026 exhibition, and other events, reflecting the pivotal role of the ADNEC Group as a leading center and strategic partner for hosting major gatherings in the region.
The year’s agenda kicks off with Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which takes place from January 11 to 15, where the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center hosts more than 50,000 participants, including heads of state, world sustainability leaders, 450 exhibitors, and 300 speakers, with the aim of connecting sector leaders and policy makers and accelerating efforts towards achieving climate neutrality. The center also hosts a number of events during the week, including the World Future Energy Summit from January 13 to 15, the Green Hydrogen Summit, and the “Youth for Sustainability” Forum and Center.
During the period from January 12 to 17, the “Ataya” exhibition highlights women’s fashion and jewelry in support of charitable causes. The Zayed Sustainability Prize ceremony will also be held on January 13, to honor winners who have made a tangible impact in the areas of health, food, energy, water, climate action and global high schools.
The seventh session of UMEX and SimTEX 2026 will be held from January 20 to 22, to showcase the latest technologies in unmanned systems for the civil and defense sectors. The two exhibitions are organized by the ADNEC Group in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Tawazun Council for Defense Empowerment and in a strategic partnership with the EDGE Group, as they bring together innovators, decision-makers and exhibitors to showcase the latest innovations in the fields of land, sea, air and other unmanned systems, which contributes to enhancing cooperation, business growth and creating the future of autonomous technologies.
Consumer exhibitions receive special attention, which is embodied in the hosting of the “Al Thuraya” exhibitions from January 25 to 29, which focus on the latest fashion trends, jewelry and home accessories, while the “Bride of the Gulf” exhibition from January 27 to 31 brings together designers, artists and manufacturers with an audience looking to discover the latest wedding trends.
From February 6 to 15, ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center will host the Masters Open Abu Dhabi 2026, a sporting celebration that promotes the concepts of inclusivity, community and healthy lifestyles. The Abu Dhabi Poetry Festival 2026 will also be held from February 9 to 13, celebrating the aesthetics of Arabic poetry, with the participation of a group of prominent poets, rising talents, and poetry lovers.
During the holy month of Ramadan, Capital Majlis returns to both ADNEC Abu Dhabi and ADNEC Al Ain Center, offering an upscale destination for breakfast and suhoor, in addition to hosting a number of suhoor and iftar events for government agencies and private companies, in a Ramadan atmosphere that brings together the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain communities.
Late March and early April will witness a number of major events, including the first UAE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Future Leadership in Healthcare Transformation, and the IAAPA Middle East 2026 exhibition from March 31 to April 2, which brings together the global entertainment and tourist attractions community in Abu Dhabi. The Paper and Tissue Exhibition will also be held during the same period, highlighting the latest innovations and trends in the sector. Money Expo Abu Dhabi, from April 8 to 9, brings together investors, traders, financial technology pioneers and financial institutions to enhance cooperation and anticipate the future of the financial sector.
For the first time in the Arab region, the ADNEC Al Ain Center will host the “Terra World Conference” from April 13 to 16, 2026, with the participation of international experts to discuss the preservation of clay architecture, archaeological heritage, and cultural landscapes, in addition to contemporary clay architecture, through scientific sessions, accompanying events, and various activities.
The “Emirates Agriculture Conference and Exhibition” will also be held next April as a strategic platform that brings together farmers, investors, experts, government agencies and research institutions, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and reviewing the latest innovations in sustainable agriculture, strengthening partnerships between the public and private sectors, and supporting youth participation and the growth of the agricultural sector in the country.
The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair returns from April 11 to 20, strengthening its global standing through intellectual programs, prominent guests, and various topics. M&I Abu Dhabi will also be held from April 14 to 16, bringing together the leaders of the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions industry for the first time in the Middle East. The Middle East Film and Games Exhibition (MEFCC) will be held from April 24 to 26, while Abu Dhabi will host the 15th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice from April 25 to 30, under the slogan “Protecting people and the planet, achieving the 2030 Agenda in the digital age.”
The fifth edition of “Make in the UAE” will be held from May 4 to 7, continuing to support the country’s industrial ambitions. Since the event moved to the ADNEC Abu Dhabi Center in 2025, and the ADNEC Group joined as an organizer, the exhibition has witnessed remarkable growth, represented by an increase in the number of visitors by 20 times, the number of exhibitors by 16 times, and the area by 5 times, while the 2026 edition looks forward to achieving greater successes and contributing to the diversification of the knowledge-based economy.
The “World of Artificial Intelligence – Abu Dhabi” will kick off on May 11, 2026, with a global summit that brings together artificial intelligence leaders, followed by exhibition activities on May 12 and 13, to showcase the latest innovations and achievements from major technology companies and startups, which will contribute to enhancing cooperation between companies from multiple sectors and practical artificial intelligence applications. The event also includes the “AI Valley for Cybersecurity”, which brings together innovators, investors and startups to confront digital threats and enhance security and defense capabilities.
The International Security and Risk Resilience Conference (ISNR 2026) will be held from May 19 to 21, in conjunction with the Interlogistics Abu Dhabi exhibition, where security and supply chain officials and innovative logistics solution providers will gather.
The first half of the year concludes with the “Abu Dhabi Sports Summer” event in June, which is the largest indoor sports event of its kind in the region, to provide a suitable environment for practicing sports activities during the summer.
