Ndiaye leads Senegal to victory over Mali and reach the semi-finals of the African Nations

The Senegalese national team reached the semi-finals of the African Cup of Nations, after defeating its Malian counterpart with a clean goal, today, in the quarter-finals of the tournament held in Morocco.
Ilman Ndiaye scored the only goal of the match for the Senegalese team in the 27th minute, in a match that also witnessed Yves Bissouma, captain of the Malian national team, being sent off in the third minute of stoppage time in the first half.
The Senegalese team will meet in the semi-finals with the winner of the match between Egypt and Côte d’Ivoire in the quarter-finals tomorrow.
The Senegalese team reached the semi-finals for the sixth time in its history, and the third in the last four editions, as it had previously reached that round in the 2019 and 2021 editions, and left the last edition in Côte d’Ivoire in the round of sixteen.
