المملكة: “Islamic Affairs”: 408 million riyals to maintain 6,478 mosques within a year
set Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, a huge package of contracts for the maintenance and operation of Mosquesand mosques for the year 2025 AD, with a financial value exceeding 408 million riyals, to cover thousands of mosques in various regions of the Kingdom, with the aim of improving the services provided to worshipers and ensuring their sustainability according to the highest standards.
The process included the conclusion of 31 comprehensive operational contracts, targeting direct care for 6,478 mosques and mosques, by providing integrated maintenance, cleaning and operation services.
The geographical scopes of these contracts included the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Asir, Jazan, Qassim, Najran, Al-Jawf, the northern border, and a number of their affiliated governorates.
Raising the efficiency of services
Through this broad contractual movement, the Ministry seeks to ensure the continuity of cleaning and regular maintenance work without interruption, and to raise the efficiency of field services in the houses of God throughout the year.
The Ministry stressed This step comes in implementation of its operational plans aimed at enhancing the technical readiness of mosques and improving their service environment in line with aspirations.
These contracts are expected to contribute to providing an appropriate spiritual and spatial atmosphere, enabling worshipers to perform their worship with reassurance and reverence in a healthy and clean environment.
