The Head of State receives the Turkish Foreign Minister

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received yesterday, at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, Hakan Fidan.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Turkish Foreign Minister conveyed to His Highness the President of the State the greetings of the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and his wishes for the UAE to continue development and prosperity, while His Highness conveyed his greetings to the Turkish President and his wishes for his country further development and progress.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed Emirati-Turkish relations, and the importance of enhancing cooperation and joint work to develop them in various fields, within the framework of their strategic relations and the comprehensive economic partnership that brings together the two countries.
His Highness and the Turkish Foreign Minister also reviewed the developments in the situation in the Middle East region, the regional and international efforts made to maintain the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the urgent response to the humanitarian situation in the Strip, and the flow of sufficient aid without obstacles, stressing in this context the need to intensify efforts to push towards a path of just and comprehensive peace in the region that is based on the “two-state solution,” as it is the way to consolidate regional security and stability, and an essential foundation for achieving the aspirations of the peoples of the region. Towards development and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, and a number of senior officials.
