An American delegation praises the great development achieved by Abu Dhabi Police music

ABU DHABI, 15 JANUARY / WAM / The delegation of the US Air Force Central Band praised the great development achieved by Abu Dhabi Police music in the artistic and musical field, expressing its aspiration for further development and future achievements.
This came during the delegation’s visit to Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with the American Embassy in Abu Dhabi, within the framework of strengthening cultural partnerships and exchanging experiences in the field of military music.
Brigadier Saif Saeed Al Shamsi, Director of the Protocol and Public Relations Department at Abu Dhabi Police, praised the support provided by the Abu Dhabi Police General Command, and its constant keenness to provide all the necessary capabilities for the Abu Dhabi Police Musical Band to appear in an honorable appearance that reflects the image of the country in such visits.
He stressed that these meetings contribute to gaining experience, raising the level of performance, and keeping pace with international teams, in addition to their pivotal role in strengthening partnership and cultural communication between the two friendly peoples, as an extension of the historical relations that bring together the UAE and the United States.
During the visit, the two bands presented a joint musical performance that included pieces from the UAE’s traditional folklore, and an artistic painting by the artists “Al-Ayyala” and “Al-Harbiyah,” embodying the diversity, authenticity, and nobility of the authentic Emirati heritage, in addition to presenting global and international pieces that reflected the diversity of military music schools.
The visit included organizing a musical workshop aimed at exchanging musical experiences, learning about the best professional practices in the field of military music, developing group playing and performance skills, raising the level of artistic discipline, and enhancing musical harmony in accordance with approved international standards.
The workshop included practical training and practical sessions that contributed to refining the skills of the participants and improving the quality of performance in official participation and events.
Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Khasif Al-Wahshi, Head of the Police Music Department, explained that the visit comes to consolidate relations and support the continuous development of the musical band, exchange experiences in the fields of training and musical education, and learn about the latest musical instruments and styles used in playing and training, which contributes to raising the level of the musical bands’ performance.
