The Minister of Industry discusses strengthening partnerships with major international companies in Davos

During bilateral meetings with a number of leaders of major international companies, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Al-Khorayef discussed opportunities to enhance investment partnerships in the industrial and mining sectors.
This came on the sidelines of his participation within the Saudi delegation in the World Economic Forum 2026 in the Swiss city of Davos.
Qualitative Opportunities
The meetings reviewed qualitative opportunities in a number of promising sectors that the national strategy is focusing on developing and localizing. For the industry, which contributes to enhancing local content and ensuring the sustainability of supply chains, in addition to the capabilities offered by the Kingdom to facilitate the investors’ journey.
The meetings discussed the latest innovative financing solutions and products to support the growth and expansion of local and global investments in the industrial and mining sectors, and opportunities for joint cooperation in the fields of industrial innovation and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Minister Al-Khorayef’s meetings with leaders of international companies included a meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of UPL, and the Executive Vice President of Pfizer, the head of supply chains and operations at Unilever, in addition to the head of international affairs at Citibank, and the CEO of Enveda.
These meetings confirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to expand its international partnerships and attract quality investments. To localize promising industries, transfer technology and innovative industrial solutions, in line with the objectives of the National Strategy for Industry and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, to transform the Kingdom into a leading industrial power regionally and globally.
