Joint statement by the Foreign Ministers of the UAE, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar

The Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Turkey, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Qatar welcome the invitation sent to the leaders of their countries by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, to join the Peace Council.

The Ministers announce the joint decision of their countries to join the Peace Council and each country will sign the accession documents in accordance with its relevant legal and other necessary procedures, including the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, who have previously announced their accession.

The Ministers reaffirm their countries’ support for the peace efforts led by President Trump, and affirm their countries’ commitment to supporting the implementation of the Peace Council’s mission as a transitional body as stated in the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza and as adopted by United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2803, which aims to establish a permanent ceasefire, support the reconstruction of Gaza, and push towards a just and lasting peace based on fulfilling the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and establishing their state in accordance with international law, paving the way for achieving security and stability for all. Countries and peoples of the region.
