This guide comes as a guidance document that explains the correct work steps within the system, ensuring that the required results are achieved when followed carefully. It included a detailed explanation of the professional development service for teachers, a comprehensive description of the service, the purpose of the document, and the mechanism for its use, in addition to a review of the procedures and application mechanism, usage instructions, and how to access it. Professional development for teachers

The guide indicated that the professional development service for teachers is provided electronically through the Fares system, and includes several main tracks, the most prominent of which are: professional development authority for teachers, a report on professional development activities, a report on professional development points, in addition to a report on professional development points at the year level, with the possibility of browsing the system via the Oracle program and entering using approved user data.

The guide emphasized that entering professional development activities is done exclusively by the holder of the educational job himself, and no one else is acting on his behalf, stressing the necessity of filling out activity data according to the data of the approved professional development activity document accurately and without any error, with the holder of the educational job bearing full responsibility for the accuracy of the data entered.

It also clarified that one activity or several activities can be entered at once and submitted for approval by the direct supervisor, with the recommendation to upload the largest possible number of activities at one time, given that it is not possible to add new activities before the activities return. Activity data entry mechanism

Extracting reports of professional development activities

The guide included an important warning confirming that it will not be possible to add any new professional development activities except after the previous activities are approved and returned by the direct supervisor in accordance with the procedure taken, emphasizing the necessity of entering all professional development activities achieved for the occupant of the educational position throughout his previous service, as the user bears full responsibility for the accuracy of the data, and in the event of an error. A message appears indicating the incorrect activity with the possibility of modification or deletion.

The guide also reviewed the steps for extracting reports of professional development activities, as the system allows displaying a comprehensive report of all the teacher’s activities, and outputting them in an “Excel” file, in addition to the steps for extracting the professional development points report, and outputting its outputs in a “PDF” file that includes all the teacher’s points.

It also explained the mechanism for extracting the professional development points report at the year level, which shows the teacher’s total annual points, with the possibility of displaying it electronically and keeping it for reference. Professional.
