The Federal National Council participates in the meetings of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly in Bahrain

Tomorrow, the Federal National Council delegation, headed by Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, First Deputy Speaker of the Council, Chairman of the Council Group in the Asian Parliamentary Association, will participate in the meetings of the Assembly’s committees and the work of the Assembly’s sixteenth plenary session, which is hosted by the House of Representatives in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain in the capital, Manama, under the title “The Role of Asian Parliaments in Promoting Dialogue between Cultures and Civilizations in Asia: Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Paths,” which continues until January 28.

The Council delegation includes members of the group, members of the Federal National Council, Dr. Nidal Muhammad Al-Tunaiji, Vice-Chairman of the group, Muhammad Issa Al-Kashf, Dr. Sidra Rashid Al-Mansouri, and Fatima Ali Al-Muhairi.

The agenda of the sixteenth session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly includes holding an Executive Bureau meeting during which its members will be elected, reviewing the report of the Secretary-General of the Association, and adopting the agenda of the current session, in addition to discussing the reports of the standing committees “the Political Affairs Committee, the Economic Affairs and Sustainable Development Committee, the Social and Cultural Affairs Committee, and the Budget and Planning Affairs Committee.”
