Ren Tarami is champion of the second stage of the Sharjah International Tour

Rin Tarami from the Japanese Kenan team was crowned champion of the second stage of the 11th Sharjah International Tour, followed in second place by Marcin Budinski from the Hungarian MBH Bank team, then Adne van Engelen from the Malaysian Terengganu team.
The second stage, which was held today, Saturday, was called “Jubail” and was a distance of 129.56 km, starting from the Jubail market in Sharjah and ending in the Jubail market in Kalba. It was characterized by great excitement and brought to the fore other champions other than those witnessed in the first stage.
Ren Tarami won the yellow shirt for the owner of the best time in covering the stage distance, sponsored by the Sharjah Police General Command. He also received the green shirt for the owner of the best speed points, sponsored by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority. He also received the red shirt for the first place holder in climbing the hills, sponsored by the Sharjah Municipality. As for the white shirt, sponsored by Sharjah Sports Channel, for the first place holder for youth under 23 years of age, it was won by Almer Boufqar from the “Emirates Gen Z” team, and his colleague Abdullah received it on his behalf. Jassim, as for the winner of the UAE flag T-shirt sponsored by the Sharjah Sports Council for the Emirati cyclist with the best time in covering the stage distance, it was obtained by the cyclist Rashid Al Balushi from the UAE national team.
The tour will resume the third stage, “Al-Hira,” tomorrow, Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. for a distance of 9.81 km, starting and ending in the town of Al-Hira. On the sidelines of the stage, an accompanying race for the disabled “against the clock” will be held for boys with wheelchairs “H” and special bicycles “C,” and another race for youth, starting at 9 a.m.
