Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Award for Agricultural Excellence celebrates UAE-Kuwaiti relations

ABU DHABI, 28th JANUARY / WAM / The Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Award for Agricultural Excellence celebrates the strong fraternal relations between the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly State of Kuwait, starting from January 29th of this year and for a full week, with an integrated program of cultural, heritage and community events that are held in the award pavilion within the activities of the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi.

This celebration comes in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership to celebrate the established fraternal relations between the UAE and the sisterly State of Kuwait, and an embodiment of the depth of the historical and social ties that bring together the two brotherly countries and peoples.

During this period, the award pavilion is decorated with a number of artistic paintings that document the process of established fraternal relations between the two countries, in addition to allocating a symbolic tree for writing dedications and messages by visitors to the pavilion as an expression of feelings of love and appreciation for the sisterly State of Kuwait.

Producer families participate in the celebration activities, with a number of community initiatives, including preparing and presenting popular Gulf dishes, which contributes to enhancing the presence of the common popular heritage and reflects the authenticity of the Gulf cultural identity.

Over the course of a week, the pavilion will witness artistic and poetic events that express the depth of the Emirati-Kuwaiti relationship, in addition to a lecture that highlights prominent historical milestones in the process of relations between the two countries, and interactive cultural competitions aimed at enhancing visitors’ knowledge of the history and culture of the State of Kuwait and the Emirates.

Her Excellency Moza Suhail Al Muhairi, Deputy Director General of the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority for Regulatory and Administrative Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Award for Agricultural Excellence, confirmed that organizing these events stems from the award’s keenness to contribute to enhancing community awareness of the importance of historical and cultural ties between the Emirates and Kuwait, and consolidating the values ​​of brotherhood and cohesion between the two brotherly peoples.

She explained that the participation of productive families and the accompanying heritage activities reflects the award’s commitment to supporting the local community and empowering these groups, in addition to preserving the common Gulf heritage and transmitting it to new generations through innovative interactive methods.

Her Excellency pointed out that the Sheikh Zayed Festival constitutes a leading national platform to showcase these initiatives, due to its wide public presence, stressing the award’s keenness to use its participation in it to support national events and enhance its cultural and societal messages.

This celebration reflects the keenness of the Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Award for Agricultural Excellence to utilize its participation in the Sheikh Zayed Festival to promote messages of cohesion and rapprochement between brotherly peoples, through cultural and community initiatives that contribute to highlighting the depth of Gulf relations, and emphasize the importance of culture and heritage as a bridge for communication between generations.
