Sharjah terminates Manaj’s contract… and includes Pereira

Sharjah Club announced, through its official account on the “X” platform, the termination of the contract of the first team football player, Albanian Ray Manaj, by mutual consent, noting that the club had contracted with the player last July.
The club said: “Sharjah Club terminates its contract with Albanian player Ray Manaj by mutual consent. We wish him good luck and success in his future career.”
Albanian newspapers had previously reported that the 28-year-old Albanian striker was on his way to sign with the Chinese club Zhejiang FC in a contract during which he would receive an annual salary estimated at four million euros per season, which prompted the player to agree to leave the professional league.
It is noteworthy that Ray Manaj had joined the ranks of Sharjah during the last summer transfer market, to enhance the team’s attacking power, and despite the great expectations that accompanied his arrival, the Chinese offer forced him to leave before completing his first season.
It is noteworthy that Sharjah occupies seventh place in the league standings with 17 points, and has won two titles during the last period despite the decline in its level and going through a difficult period since the beginning of the season with Serbian coach Milos, who was dismissed and the task was handed over to Portuguese coach Jose Moraes, who quickly returned “The King” to the right path and won the UAE Super Cup with him, and won the UAE-Qatari Super Cup with him.
On the other hand, Sharjah contracted with Brazilian player Rafael Pereira (25 years old), coming from Al Bataeh Club, to strengthen its ranks during the second round of the Professional League, as the player has high technical abilities that support the technical staff’s directions to develop performance and achieve positive results in the coming period.
