المملكة: Including 1,700 infiltrators… 19,000 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were arrested

Continue Joint field campaignsto follow up and arrest violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations, in all regions of the Kingdom.

The campaigns that took place from January 22 to 28 resulted in the following results:

Capturing violators

First: The total amounted to Violatorswho were caught in the joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom (19,975) violators, including (12,906) violators of the residency system, (3918) violators of the border security system, and (3151) violators of the labor system

Second: The total number of those arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom reached (1,716) people (39%) of whom were Yemeni nationals. (60%) of Ethiopian nationality, and (01%) of other nationalities, and (48) people were arrested for attempting to cross the border outside the Kingdom in an irregular manner.

Third: (11) were arrested involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators of residency, work, and border security regulations, and covering them up. Fourth: The total number of those currently subject to regulations implementation procedures has reached (23,472) violating expatriates, including (21,862) men and (1,610) women.

Fifth: (16,595) violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, (1,820) violators were referred to complete their travel reservations, and (14,867) violators were deported.

Reporting Violations

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system into the Kingdom, transports them within it, provides them with shelter, or provides them with any assistance or service in any form, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, and confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for shelter, in addition to defamation of him. For arrest, breach of honor and integrity, it is urged to report any cases of violation on the number (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiya, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the regions of the Kingdom.
