“Al-Abyad” sets a date with “African-Tunisian” in the “Dubai Basket” final

The national team set a date at eight o’clock in the evening tomorrow, with the Tunisian African, in the final match of the 35th edition of the Dubai International Basketball Championship, following their success today, Saturday, at Al-Nasr Hall in Dubai, in overcoming the obstacle of the semi-finals, with the victory of the “White” over the Libyan “Al-Ittihad” by one point (97-96), and the African over the defending champion Beirut of Lebanon by (72-62).

The Libyan Union succeeded in extending its dominance over the course of the first half, and obtaining the advantage with the results of the first and second quarters by (24-21 and 29-26).

With the start of the second half, the team’s performance improved and the “White” players succeeded in reducing the difference to four points, gaining the advantage with the result of the third quarter (24-22), so that the match entered its final 10 minutes, through which “White” knew how to resolve the match in its final seconds, and obtained the advantage with the result of the fourth quarter (26-21).

In the second match, the African-Tunisian team knew how to guarantee its victory, with its players gaining the advantage with the results of the first and third quarters (27-17 and 12-7), while the Beirut players gained the advantage with the results of the second and fourth quarters with the results of (21-17 and 17-15), which was not enough for them to return with the result of the match.
