The launch of the World Summit of Scientists… and artificial intelligence tops the agenda of the first day

Dubai, 1st February / WAM / The World Summit of Scientists kicked off today, bringing together more than 150 scientists who have won the Nobel Prize and other prestigious scientific awards, along with government leaders and global decision-makers.

This prominent global event, which extends over three days in conjunction with the World Government Summit 2026, is one of the most important and largest qualitative scientific gatherings in the world, and the largest in terms of the scientific weight of the participants.

The agenda of the World Summit of Scientists, which is held in partnership between the World Government Summit and the International Association of Senior Scientists, includes a qualitative program based on the axis of “Basic Sciences: Scientific Compatibility to Face Humanity’s Challenges.” The agenda for the first day includes, in addition to the opening ceremony, the “Artificial Intelligence Sciences” Forum, the “Artificial Intelligence Sciences Forum… Is Artificial Intelligence Capable of Discovery?”, the “Transformational Technologies” Forum, the New Energy Forum, and the Scientific Discovery Forum.

This summit reflects the UAE’s commitment to enhancing the role of science and knowledge as a driving force for building a more advanced and sustainable future for future generations.
