Mansour bin Mohammed witnesses the third round of the Asian Le Mans races

Yesterday, Saturday, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the National Olympic Committee and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, witnessed part of the competitions of the third round of the “Asian Le Mans” endurance race series (2025-2026 season), hosted by the “Dubai Autodrome” circuit, with the participation of an elite group of international drivers and teams.
During the event, His Highness met Tunku Abdul Rahman bin Sultan Ibrahim, (Tunku Panglima Johor), and his brother Tunku Abu Bakar bin Sultan Ibrahim, (Tunku Putera Johor), the two sons of Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia and Sultan of Johor State.
The two princes are actively participating in the tournament as part of a team – Johor Motorsport Racing- (JMR) Which represents a qualitative leap this season with the adoption of Corvette cars (Corvette Z06 GT3.R), where His Highness Tunku Abu Bakar drives car No. 66, while His Highness Tunku Abdul Rahman competes in the professional and amateur categories, which reflects a high-level Asian presence in the heart of the event in Dubai.
As for the third round of competitions, the Crowd Strike Racing by APR team, which includes drivers: (Kurtz, Jacobsen, and Deletraz), was crowned champion of the “Dubai 4 Hours Race”, after seizing the lead in the decisive stages, taking advantage of safety car periods several times, and “Deletraz” overtaking its competitor, “Quinn”, after the tire performance of the No. 64 Nielsen Racing car, which finished eighth, declined. The No. 47 Citadel Racing car took second place, followed by the No. 30 RD Limited car in third.
And in the category (GTThe No. 74 Ferrari Kessel Racing car achieved its second consecutive win this season, only 4 seconds ahead of the No. 66 Corvette JMR (driven by Prince Abu Bakr and his colleagues), in a technical achievement that the team is credited with with its new car, while the No. 10 Porsche Manthey came in third place.
As for the category (LMP3The No. 13 Inter Europol Ligier car defeated the strong competition in its favor against the No. 29 Forester Racing car, while the “23 Events” car completed the podium, recording the fastest lap in the category.
The excitement continued at the Dubai Autodrome today, Sunday, with the fourth round of the series, where the drivers competed in another 4-hour endurance race on the 5.39 km track, at a pivotal station to decide the points in the general standings of the Asian Championship.
It is noteworthy that the “Dubai Autodrome” circuit was opened in 2004, and is considered the first integrated facility in the UAE that combines motor sports and entertainment. It is located in the heart of the “Motor City” district, and includes a race track approved by the International Automobile Federation (FIA).FIA) with a length of 5.39 kilometers, in addition to specialized facilities for car racing, catering, and hospitality services.
