A player in the UAE judo team achieves the highest "Score rate" In the International Federation Awards
Paris, February 10, 2017 – The International Judo Federation announced that the star of our national judo team, Nejad Yazbek, has been selected as the best player to achieve full winning points, “ippon,” during the competitive matches it supervises, which is equivalent to a “technical knockout” and leads to an immediate victory in the result of the match.
He confirmed in a statement that our national team player received the highest percentage of votes for the individual awards for the stars of the 2025 season, within the International Federation Awards, on the sidelines of the Paris “Grand Slam” tournament, which included the best development projects, the Judo for Peace project for this year, the youth sector, and the best emerging player and male player.
