Ajman Municipality organizes the Public Health Pest Control Companies Forum 2026
Ajman, February 10 / WAM / The Ajman Municipality and Planning Department organized the Ajman Public Health Pest Control Companies Forum 2026, with the aim of discussing and developing the requirements and requirements for accrediting companies working in this field, and enhancing training and qualification programmes, in addition to discussing the most prominent challenges and presenting proposals for solutions and opportunities for improvement, in a way that contributes to improving public health pest control services in the emirate, in line with the strategic goal of enhancing environmental sustainability by reducing pollution and enhancing Carbon neutrality in the emirate.
Engineer Makiya Hassan Ghuloum, Director of the Department’s Public Health Department, confirmed that organizing the forum comes within the framework of its keenness to develop the public health pest control system, raise the efficiency of approved companies, and enhance their technical readiness to ensure the provision of high-quality services that preserve the health and safety of community members.
The forum aimed to bring together accredited public health pest control companies with the Public Health Department and companies supplying pesticides and control materials, to enhance the integration of efforts and build sustainable communication channels to exchange knowledge, and learn about the latest developments and technologies in this field, which will reflect positively on improving the quality of services provided, and launching qualitative initiatives that contribute to the development of the public health pest control system, and raising the level of services provided in accordance with the highest approved standards.
An extensive discussion session was held with approved public health pest control companies in the emirate, during which the inspection observations were reviewed and analyzed, and the most prominent development ideas and proposals and challenges facing the companies were summarized. The events concluded with a number of recommendations that will be studied and worked to implement in accordance with the approved frameworks.
