Masters Games Championship" Abu Dhabi 2026" Falconry starts tomorrow

Abu Dhabi, February 10 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Falconers Club, in cooperation with the organizing committee, announced the launch of the Masters Games for Falconry, over the course of Wednesday and Thursday, at its headquarters in the Al Falah area, with great participation.

Tomorrow’s program of events includes competitions for youth in the Jair Pure category, Qarmousha Jair – Farkh Jernas, and women’s competitions for all falcon categories, Jair Farkh and Jernas.

He also pointed out that the next day will witness youth competitions in the categories of Gair Shaheen, Gair Tabba – Farkh and Jirnas, in addition to events designated for senior citizens for all categories of falcons, Gir Farkh and Jirnas.

Sultan Al Mahmoud, Director of the Abu Dhabi Falconers Club, said that traditional sports are a fundamental pillar of the “Abu Dhabi 2026” Masters Games programme, and their content carries cultural messages to enhance cultural convergence between peoples, and to consolidate the country’s efforts by supporting its wise leadership in preserving its heritage, instilling its values ​​in the souls of generations, and enhancing interest in practicing it.

He noted that all arrangements have been completed to launch the events tomorrow, and all requirements have been provided for their success, noting that the decision to hold the competitions over two days is due to the increasing number of participants, and to provide them with the opportunity to participate in the competitions in an encouraging and stimulating environment in accordance with best practices.
