"Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Enterprise Development" Launch a program "Tomorrow’s pioneers"

DUBAI, 11TH FEBRUARY/WAM/ The Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, one of the institutions of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, announced the launch of the sustainable national program “Pioneers of Tomorrow”, which was developed in cooperation with the Emirates Injaz Foundation to integrate university entrepreneurship with real economic and institutional needs.
The program establishes a direct path from academia to companies, and accelerates the creation of scalable Emirati ventures.
The initiative contributes to building bridges of communication between academic circles and the business sector, by giving talented Emirati university students the opportunity to experience the realistic challenges facing government and semi-governmental agencies and companies, and supports joint efforts to achieve the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to double the size of the emirate’s economy by the year 2033, and strengthen its position as a leading, competitive and attractive center for small and medium-sized companies and Emirati companies.
Ahmed Al Roum Al Muhairi, Acting Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, said that the launch of the “Tomorrow’s Pioneers” program comes in line with the vision of the wise leadership as another strategic step in strengthening Dubai’s position as an important center for entrepreneurship and innovation, by providing a practical path that begins from the education stage and develops to enable entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into successful projects, which contributes to strengthening Emirati talent that is involved within the emirate’s entrepreneurship system.
He added that this initiative reflects the level of cooperation between the public and private sectors that characterizes Dubai’s approach to economic transformation, reflects our commitment to providing continuous government support to entrepreneurs, and is consistent with one of the main priorities of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 in supporting a new generation of creative Emirati entrepreneurs who enjoy forward-looking thinking, amid the global competitive scene for small and medium-sized companies.
