Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center launches the first episode of a series "Contributions of Muslim scholars"

Abu Dhabi, February 13 / WAM / The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center published the first episode of the series “Contributions of Muslim Scholars”, coinciding with the launch of the initiative through which the Center celebrates the cultural role of Muslim scholars throughout the ages, and highlights their pioneering scientific contributions to Islamic civilization, which formed the basis for the establishment of many modern sciences.

The initiative comes in line with the UAE’s vision of preserving human cultural heritage, and an extension of the cultural message embodied by the “Nour and Peace” Museum at the center, as a platform that introduces the world to the depth of Islamic civilization and its human values.

The inaugural episode of the series provides an introductory introduction that gives the viewer a clear idea of the initiative and the cultural messages and visions it carries, while highlighting the first phase, which deals with the contributions of Muslim scholars in the fields of astronomy and mathematics.

The Center continues to produce and publish episodes of the series one by one, with the aim of highlighting the pioneering role of Islamic civilization in supporting the scientific movement throughout history, introducing the achievements made by Muslim scholars in various fields of knowledge, and documenting this legacy in a contemporary manner that is attractive to various groups.

The center implements this work through highly qualified national cadres, who have harnessed their expertise in employing artificial intelligence techniques in designing and producing content, in a way that reflects the quality of production and embodies the cultural messages of the series.

This includes presenting a narrator character who represents the Emirati identity, and highlighting scenes that evoke the cultural and historical dimension of Islamic civilization, by mixing the spirit of the past with the present in an interactive narrative format.

The Center also launched an integrated package of cultural programs and events accompanying the initiative, which included an exhibition held in the “Peace Dome” documenting the contributions of Muslim scholars, in addition to dialogue sessions, a visual cultural series, and activities whose content contributes to enriching the cultural scene in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

It is noteworthy that visiting the “Contributions of Muslim Scholars” exhibition is available during the official visit times to the mosque, and the public can follow the developments of the accompanying events and activities via the center’s website: “www.szgmc.gov.ae,” and via the Instagram platform: “@szgmc_ae.”
