The Head of State and the Emir of Qatar discuss fraternal relations and efforts made regarding regional developments

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed with his brother Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the sisterly State of Qatar, fraternal relations and ways to enhance various paths of cooperation and joint work in a way that serves the development priorities and common interests of the two countries and brings goodness and development to their two brotherly peoples.

This came during a meeting with His Highness in Abu Dhabi, the Emir of the State of Qatar, and the accompanying delegation, which is on a fraternal visit to the country.

During the meeting, their Highnesses also discussed a number of regional and international issues and developments of common interest, and exchanged views on them, most notably the developments in the situation in the Middle East region and the efforts made to support stability and peace and to promote dialogue and diplomatic solutions to crises in the region, stressing their keenness to continue fraternal consultation and joint work and support everything that contributes to consolidating the causes of peace and stability in the region, as they are the main basis for achieving development and prosperity for all its peoples.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Cabinet, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and National Security Advisor, Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al. Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of senior state officials.

It was also attended by the delegation accompanying the Emir of the State of Qatar, which includes a number of sheikhs and senior officials.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani left the country at a later time, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was at the forefront of his farewells upon his departure from Al Bateen Airport in Abu Dhabi, and a number of Their Highnesses Sheikhs, ministers and senior officials.
