Unified medical protocol
He pointed to the adoption of a unified medical protocol to examine physical injuries and provide the necessary treatment, in addition to applying post-exposure prevention measures, including medically approved therapeutic and preventive aspects.
Al-Zubaidi indicated the adoption of a clear policy for dealing with cases of suspected drugging or drugging. Poisoning related to attacks includes mechanisms for collecting biological samples and preserving them according to the forensic chain, and sending them to approved poison and forensic centers for analysis.
He added that the forum focused on accelerating the response and reducing the time for starting procedures, while unifying communication channels with the Public Prosecution, ensuring that cases are handled with high efficiency from the first moments of notification.
It was also announced that the electronic link between the forensic medicine departments, the Public Prosecution and the security authorities will be activated, with the aim of accelerating examination procedures, ensuring the preservation of evidence and raising the reliability of documentation. Training health personnel
In the psychosocial aspect, he stressed the involvement of the social worker in the initial evaluation, and activating referrals to psychological evaluation services and the psychiatrist when needed, in a way that enhances comprehensive care for victims.
He pointed to the importance of training health personnel on the basics of professional dealing with cases of violence and sexual assault, ethics of practice, and mechanisms for collecting evidence without harming the judicial value.
He also touched on developing a certificate. Nursing sexual assault case examiners (SANE), and activating the Scientific Committee for Forensic Psychiatry to support subspecialties and raise the quality of reports.
In the context of community protection, Al-Zubaidi stressed the work to enhance the protection of children from electronic exploitation through national policies and awareness programs directed at different age groups.
He concluded by referring to the activation of remote forensic consultation services in cooperation with virtual health, which contributes to supporting peripheral areas, accelerating obtaining a specialized opinion, and raising the efficiency of the medical forensic service. At the Kingdom level.
