The Ministry of Islamic Affairs was represented by the Undersecretary for Da’wah and Guidance Affairs, Dr. Saud bin Alibi Al-Ghamdi, while the Ministry of National Guard was represented by the head of the Guidance and Guidance Service, Dr. Abdul Hakim bin Muhammad Al-Ajlan.

Enhancing areas of cooperation

The memorandum of understanding aims to strengthen the partnership between the two sides through a number of paths, most notably cooperation in the field of awareness and guidance, which contributes to Consolidating moderation and enhancing intellectual security, by intensifying the implementation of specialized courses, and holding speeches, specific lectures, and joint programs.

The objectives of the agreement include achieving integration through the exchange of information of common interest in accordance with the regulations and instructions related to data protection.

Spreading Sharia awareness

The memorandum also included cooperation in printing and distributing appropriate scientific materials from the two parties’ publications and publications, in addition to benefiting from the regulatory mechanisms of the two sides to implement and manage the programs of the Memorandum of Understanding. Relevant activities to enhance the quality of outputs and achieve common goals.

This memorandum comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs to expand institutional partnerships with government agencies in a way that contributes to spreading legal awareness, enhancing national values, and serving society in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership, may God protect them.
