Abdulaziz bin Humaid witnesses the launch of the sixth edition of the Ajman Government Sports Tournament

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, witnessed the launch of the sixth edition of the Ajman Government Sports Tournament 2026, which was held amidst an enthusiastic atmosphere and wide interaction on the part of the participants and attendees, appreciating the readiness of all facilities for various sports competitions during the next stage.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi made a field tour of the sports tournament facilities, during which he looked at the technical and organizational equipment, and inspected the readiness of the stadiums, halls, and service facilities designated for the teams and fans. He also listened to an explanation from the organizing committee about the mechanism of running the competitions and the plans drawn up to ensure the safety of the participants and the smooth flow of the events, appreciating the efforts made to make the event a success and bring it out in an honorable manner.

The competitions began on their first day with the men’s football tournament, where the matches reflected the spirit of challenge and determination among the participating teams, in a scene that embodied the positive competition between government agencies.

The course witnesses wide participation by government agencies and sports teams, within a competitive framework that brings together various segments of society, and includes a variety of tournaments and sports activities aimed at spreading the culture of sports and promoting a healthy lifestyle among employees during the holy month of Ramadan.
