المملكة: Drugs and weapons… 1,400 customs smuggling cases were seized in a week


I registered Customs ports Land, sea and air (1431) cases of seizure of contraband, as part of the ongoing efforts made by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority "Zatka" To enhance the security aspect and protect society from various types and forms of prohibited items.

The seized items included (95) items of Narcotic substances, such as: hashish, cocaine, heroin, shabu, Captagon pills, and others, in addition to (663) prohibited substances. Customs ports also witnessed the frustration of (2728) tobacco and its derivatives, in addition to (19) types of sums of money, and (3) types of weapons and their supplies.

Reporting smuggling

It confirmed "Zatka" It is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom’s imports and exports, in order to achieve the security and protection of society, in continuous cooperation and coordination with all its partners from the relevant authorities.

She called for "Zatka" At the same time, everyone should contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy, by contacting it on the number designated for security reports (1910) or via e-mail (Email: 1910@zatca.gov.sa) or the international number (009661910). Through these channels, the Authority receives reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the provisions of the Unified Customs System in complete confidentiality, while granting a financial reward to the whistleblower if the report’s information is correct.
