Abdullah bin Zayed meets with the US Secretary of the Interior in Washington
Washington, February 26 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with His Excellency Doug Burgum, US Secretary of the Interior, during a working visit by His Highness to Washington.
During the meeting, they discussed the strategic and historical relations between the UAE and the United States of America, and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, in a way that serves the common interests of the two friendly countries.
The two sides reviewed the prospects for joint cooperation in the fields of energy and artificial intelligence, opportunities for developing them, expanding partnerships in these sectors, and opening new markets to support sustainable growth in the two countries.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that UAE-American relations are based on solid foundations of mutual trust and constructive partnership, noting that this historical relationship constituted an advanced model of fruitful cooperation in various sectors.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Saeed Mubarak Al Hajri, Minister of State, and His Excellency Yousef Mana Al Otaiba, the UAE Ambassador to the United States of America.
