Aircraft carrier "Gerald Ford" Greece leaves simultaneously with Iran talks

The largest American aircraft carrier in the world has departed "Gerald R. Ford" A naval base on the Greek island of Crete on Thursday, after the United States sent it this week to the Mediterranean as part of a military buildup to pressure Iran.
The ship’s departure comes at a time when a new round of indirect talks between the United States and Iran, with Omani mediation.

The carrier has been docked since Monday at the American naval base in Souda Bay in Crete.
Washington is currently deploying 13 naval warships in the Middle East, including the aircraft carrier. "Abraham Lincoln" Which arrived in late January, nine destroyers and three light frigates.
It is rare for there to be two American aircraft carriers in the region at the same time, knowing that each one carries dozens of warplanes and has thousands of sailors serving on board.
