The first of its kind.. a historic session of the Security Council headed by Melania Trump
It will be headed by held a meeting for next week, according to what her office announced, in a step that is the first of its kind for an American first lady.
The office explained in a statement that “First Lady Melania Trump will make history in by chairing the Security Council session, in conjunction with the United States assuming the presidency of the Council, in order to emphasize the role of education in promoting the values of tolerance and global peace.”

The meeting is scheduled to be held on Monday at three o’clock in the afternoon local time (20:00 GMT).
It will discuss issues of education, technology, peace and security, in a first for an American first lady to assume the presidency of the Security Council.
