Philippines.. A new eruption of the Canlaon volcano amid warnings of a more violent explosion
The Philippine Civil Defense Office explained that It witnessed increased activity in late 2025, forcing the authorities to evacuate thousands of residents of nearby villages in the active area. Many of them remain in temporary evacuation centers today as the volcano continues to be active.
