Qatar: Suspension of all public events until further notice

A circular issued by the Qatar Tourism Authority showed that it suspended today all public events, gatherings, and recreational activities in hotels and tourist sites until further notice, in order to preserve public safety.
Qatar also suspended all Ramadan tents and iftar banquets that are usually hosted by hotels and tourist sites for companies, government agencies, and the public during the month of Ramadan.
