Ahmed Vahidi is the new commander of the Revolutionary Guards in Iran

Iranian media said that Ahmed Vahidi will be the new commander of the Revolutionary Guard, hours after the announcement of the killing of the Iranian Revolutionary Guide, Ali Khamenei.

Announced Secretary of the Iranian Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani said that the transitional phase after the killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in the US-Israeli strikes begins on Sunday.

Larijani said that it will take place. "An interim leadership council will be formed soon, and the president, the head of the judiciary, and a jurist from the Guardian Council will assume responsibility until the next leader is elected"adding that "This council will be formed as soon as possible. We have been working on its formation since today".
