Fragments of a drone fell as a result of its interception on the facade of one of the Etihad Towers buildings

Abu Dhabi, 1st March / WAM / The competent authorities in Abu Dhabi dealt with an incident where fragments of a drone fell as a result of its interception by air defenses on the facade of one of the Etihad Towers buildings. The accident resulted in minor injuries to a woman and her child, and minor material damage.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office stated that the competent authorities clarified that the voices heard in the emirate were the result of successful interceptions, urging the public not to circulate rumors and false data and to obtain information from official sources only, stressing that developments will be published as soon as they are received.
